Fastest Easiest Adjustment:

Tortoise-Hare Slider

Your first bet to adjust between Conservative and Aggressive is the Tortoise-Hare Slider.

Here's what it does:

Conservative

- Slows spindle rpm

- Reduces chipload & feedrate

- Lower cutting forces = Easier on Machine and tool

- Lower MRR's + Slower Cycle Times

- Better surface finish

- Special: Furthest left position is "Fine Finish". It's as slow as we can go without rubbing and will give a nicer surface finish.

Aggressive

- Faster spindle rpm

- Faster feedrates + higher chiploads

- Higher MRR's + Lower Cycle Times

- Harder on Tool and Machine

- Special: G-Wizard is calibrated so you can go at most Aggressive setting for roughing without worry unless you really need to back off. It's not really 'Aggressive', it's more aggressive. We'll see more shortly about how to get even more aggressive.
